Mantle purchased Saffron Ground - a four storey office building of 19,833 sq ft - for £3,150,000, which represented a net initial yield of 8.6%. This provided secure, short-term, high yielding income. The building was let to Rexam Property Holdings at £286,500 per annum until June 2007. Short term income will be maintained whilst various redevelopment schemes are considered.
Held as an investment. A letting has been agreed for the ground and first floors (October 2008).
